Our Story

Inspired by Socrates Café created by Christopher Phillips, we are a small collection of friends who came together to form our version of this discussion group in October, 2023.

Our Mission

 

Our discussions explore the philosophical questions that have existed for centuries and examine how they are relevant today.

Socrates Cafe’ is a community of individuals who are passionate about making the world a better place through philosophical inquiry and discussion. We believe that by exploring the big questions about life, meaning, and purpose, we can develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world, and we can inspire each other to live more altruistic and fulfilling lives.

We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for people of all backgrounds and beliefs to engage in open and respectful dialogue. We believe that everyone has something valuable to contribute, and we are eager to learn from each other’s perspectives.
